Description

Die um 1900 gebaute Laterna magica besteht aus Stahlblech, hat im Innern des Gehäuses einen Brenner mit drei Dochten für den Betrieb mit Petroleum und einen hohen Abzugskamin zum Erzielen des nötigen Luftzugs. Das entstehende Licht wird durch eine Kondensorlinse gebündelt, dann durch das zu projizierende Bild und durch weitere Projektionslinsen aus dem Gehäuse geleitet. Eine vorgesetzte bewegliche Linse ermöglicht das Scharfstellen der Projektion.
