Kossuth-díjas zeneszerző, karnagy, zenepedagógus, népzenekutató, idősebb Csenki Imre nagyobbik fia. 1912-ben született Püspökladányban, Budapesten halt meg 1998-ban, nevét a püspökladányi zeneiskola viseli. Püspökladány egyik nagy alakja, akire büszkék vagyunk. A fotót ő ajándékozta volt tanárának, Rettegi Istvánnénak 1963-ban.
