A reprint of a rare doll catalog - 1914 Marschall Field Doll Catalog from their distinctive Kringle Society. Collectors will be delighted by the doll companies represented: Schoenhut (dolls and circus animals), Gebruder Heubach (bisque character dolls), Louis Amberg, Handwerck, Horsman, Hertwig and others. Hundreds of photographs - with detail of original clothes and face modeling! One will find many bisque, celluloid, fabric and some paper dolls included within this book. Also featured are doll related item such as furniture sets, toy dishes, toy stoves, celtid and wooden toys. The foreword by Evelyn Jane Coleman puts the dolls from this rare catalog into perspective. A detailed index to indentify the dolls is provided.
