Description

"Titania’s Palace is made by the English painter and former army officer Sir Nevile Wilkinson and his staff of excellent artists and workmen. Sir Nevile’s little daughter Guendolen asked her fater to build the palace. She had seen small fairies in the garden and she was convinced that the fairies lived in subterranean dwellings. (...)"
"Sir Nevile started to build the palace, (...) It took 15 years to build, decorate and collect art treasures from all over the world. It became a very beautiful palace, and Titania and her family moved in 1922 after Queen Mary had opened the palace."
