"Mrs. Schoonmaker has been a member of Angelenos Doll Club since early 1956. She has always been interested in doll history, and helping to fit together any pieces of doll lore possible.
Doll Research requires the cooperation of many, many people. It was acquiring the so-called "Funny Faces" for her collection that caused her to search for more information on these dolls and others by this manufacturer.
There is much more in this field to be uncovered and documented for doll history records yet."
