Description

"The main and of utmost importance to any doll is the head. The quality of the bisque and that it is not damaged in any way, is the determining factor for which prices should be based. That means no hairline cracks, cracked or broken shoulder plates, eye chips, any mends or repairs, etc. and that the quality of the bisque is very good to excellent."

"Adolf Kestner, during the early part of this Century, liked to refer to himself as "King" of the toy industry and due, also, to the crown seal he used is often referred to by collectors as "King Kestner"."
