"Friedrich August Berkhahn / Stadtwundarzt zu Halberstadt // geb. zu [Lücke im Text] Sohn des Schuhmachermeisters Heinrich Wilhelm Berk / hahn, war zu erst Compagniechirurgus im 15 Infanterieregimente zu Minden, dann Escadrons- / chirurgus im 7 Cuirasierregiment zu Halberstadt und zuletzt Stadtwundarzt daselbst. / Er starb am 28 Juni 1850 an der Cholera, 35 Jahre alt, allgemein beklagt, denn / er war ein tüchtiger und unermüdlich thätiger Mann vom liebenswürdigstem Charakter."
