Description

Darstellung einer Episode mit Satyrn und einer Nymphe auf einer Waldlichtung. Das friedliche Treiben der Walddämonen wird jäh durch einen Ziegenbock gestört, der sich auf mehrere Kinder stürzt. Glücklicherweise kann er von einem Satyr gebändigt werden, der ihn mittels eines Seils zügelt.
Das Gemälde wurde ehemals Johann Christian von Mannlich (1741 - 1822) zugeschrieben.
