Dargestellt ist die Maxentius-Basilika, deren Überreste sich über die gesamte Bildfläche ziehen. Bei den Überresten handelt es sich um das erhaltene Seitenschiff der Basilika.

Bez.: Vestigi del Tempio della pace edificato da Vespasiano Imperatore qual secondo gli autori, et vestigii che si vedono fu uno di maggiori di piu belli et rechi Tempii di Roma perche iui furono riposte tutte le richezze et ornamenti del Tempio di Salomone, che recho Titto nel suo triompho on Roma, ora in questo Tempio si vede nelle volte bellissmi partimenti di stucco uise vede anco una colonna di marmoro in opera d’ordine corintio con li sui menbri la maggiore de gli altri che si vedi in Roma.
