Spalding nennt Gleim kaltsinnig, da er auf die wichtige Neuigkeit (Braut) nicht reagierte. Langes Zitat aus dem Brief seiner Wilhelmine und seines Bruders, der die Verbindung mit Gleim sehr schätzt. Spalding wird Herrn v. Arnim und Gattin sehen. Gedenken an Sucro, Cramer, Sulzer und ihre Frauen.
