Die Fotografie zeigt den Alten Krahnen aus westlicher Richtung. Man kann die Rheinanlagen und die ehemalige Badeanstalt im Rhein erkennen. Im Hintergrund ist links Neuwied und rechts der Andernacher Hafen zu erkennen. Die Aufnahme entstand um 1935.
