Description

Die Maulwurfpumpe ist ein Hochdruck-Turboverdichter in Sonderbauart.
Grundlage für die Entwicklung der Maulwurfpumpe waren konstruktive Gedanken von Carl Bosch, die 1922 mit dem Deutschen Reichspatent Nr. 422-321 geschützt wurden.
Entwickelt wurden Maulwurfpumpen im Auftrag der Badischen Anilin & Soda-Fabrik AG Ludwigshafen für die Ammoniaksynthese.
Der Maschinenteil wurde in der Gutehoffnungshütte AG Sterkrade produziert, der elektrische Teil in den Siemens-Schuckert-Werken.
