A képen Matlekovits Sándor portréja látható. Matlekovits Sándor, dr. (Pest, 1842. október 12. - 1925. november 30. Budapest) jogász, szakíró, politikus, egyetemi tanár, az MTA tagja. Nagy része volt az iparfelügyelői intézmény, a gyakorlati ipari szakoktatás, a kultúrmérnökség, a selyemtenyésztés és a Kereskedelmi Múzeum megszervezésében. Nevéhez fűződik az ipar-, vízjogi és bányatörvény megalkotása is.
