About the museum
A collection is the basis of every exhibition.
Our collection has developed since 1983, has now grown to over 5,000 objects from four centuries and today primarily documents European paper theater and picture sheet production in the 19th century.
A major focus of work on the collection today is the reconstruction of publisher productions.
The collection is regularly presented in cultural history museums in Germany.
