Tóth Mihály (1911-1986) (faragópásztor)

Tóth Mihály (Liszó, 1911. márc. 10. – Kaposvár, 1986. dec. 4.): fafaragó, a Népművészet Mestere (1958). Tóth János, a Patkó Bandi néven ismert betyár unokája. Számadó juhász apja mellett tanulta meg a faragást. A Felsősegesd-László-majorban élt faragópásztor élete végéig ragaszkodott viseletéhez és régi életformájához. A somogyi fafaragás hagyományos tárgyait a pásztorélet jeleneteivel gazdagon díszítve különféle technikákkal készítette. A faragóművészet legsikeresebb továbbfejlesztői közé tartozott. 1954-ben lett népi iparművész. 2020-ban életműve Somogyi Érték lett.
