Polish state. It was established in the Russian sector after Poland was partitioned by the Habsburg Monarchy, Russia and Prussia. Until the November Uprising in 1831, the kingdom was in a personal union with the tsars of Russia. Thereafter, the state was forcibly integrated into the Russian Empire over the course of the 19th century.
