Ingrid Stahmer (1942-)

"Ingrid Stahmer (born Ingrid Ulrici: 16 September 1942) is a former German politician. (SPD). She briefly served as junior mayor of Berlin.

In 1997, as the popular Berlin senator (councillor) responsible for schools, youth and sport she found herself defending the government´s contentious spelling reforms to the press.
