Káua (Baniwa)

"Kawa" is a tribal name of one of the Baniwa subgroups of Brazil, Venezuela and Colombia. It is also spelled Kawá or Kawá-Tapuya. The name Kawa comes from the language of their Nhengatu neighbors. In their own language, the Kawa band call themselves Maulieni or Aini-Dákenei. - http://www.native-languages.org/definitions/kawa.htm, 02.12.2020
