Hermann Jakob Tyroff (1742-1800)

Kupferstecher. Lebensdaten nicht gesichert.

"Tyroff was an engraver who worked on De Fructibus et Seminibus Plantarum (1801-1807), a publication on seeds and fruits produced by German botanist Joseph Gaertner. The work was partly based on the collection of Joseph Banks and research from Cook’s first voyage to the South Seas. Dedicated to Banks, volume one was illustrated from Gaertner’s sketches with 180 copperplate drawings by Gaertner and Tyroff." - https://www.anbg.gov.au/biography/tyroff-hermann.html, 05.12.2017
