Johannes Sayller (1597-1668)

Der Uhrmacher Johannes Sayller wurde am 7. Juni 1597 in Angelberg im Bistum Freising, Niederbayern geboren. Er kam 1617 nach Ulm , wurde 1624 Bürger und 1646 Zunftmeister. Sayller fertigte Taschen- und Halsuhren, Tisch- und Türmchenuhren in hervorragender Qualität. Mehrere Stücke sind heute noch erhalten. Er verstarb am 16. September 1668 in Ulm.
