Edward Mitchell (c.a. 1787-1845) war ein Graveur und Kupferstecher aus Edinburgh. Bekannt wurde er durch seine Illustrationen zu John Barclay´s "A Series of engravings representing the bone of the human skeleton"
Neben diesem Buch gravierte er auch Patrick Symes Drawing Book of Flowers and Fruit (1810), Sketches after Anthony Van Dyck (1815), Alexander Kays Porträts schottischer Bauern (1820er) und zahlreiche Buchillustrationen.
