Kubinyi Ágoston

Felsőkubini és nagyolaszi Kubinyi Ágoston (Videfalva, 1799. május 30. – Tápiószentmárton, 1873. szeptember 19.) művelődésszervező, 1843–1869 között a Magyar Nemzeti Múzeum igazgatója. 1843-tól a Magyar Tudományos Akadémia tiszteleti, 1853-tól igazgató tagja, 1844-től 1845-ig a Királyi Magyar Természettudományi Társulat elnöke volt. Kubinyi Ferenc (1796–1874) paleontológus öccse.
