Mikus Gyula (1905-1996)

Festőművész. Celldömölkön született, Tapolcán nevelkedett. Hamar kitűnt művészi tehetsége. Tanítóképzőt végzett, majd Zalaszántón tanított. Közben sokat festett, sikeresen szerepelt kiállításokon.. 1941-től Keszthelyen élt. Fő témái a Balaton-környéki tájak és emberek voltak. Egry József-díjat kapott, Keszthely díszpolgára lett.
