1958: Magyar Iparművészeti Főiskola, mesterei: Molnár Béla, Schubert Ernő. 1966: SZOT-díj; 1978: Pro Urbe-díj, Békés. Eleinte kézi festésű vagy batikolt eljárással selyem lakástextileket, faliképeket készített. A 60-as évek végétől elsősorban a forma és ritmus problémája foglalkoztatja, filcből op-art hatású színes munkákat készített. Gyerekjátékokkal is foglalkozott. Férjével, Janáky Viktorral több közös kiállításon szerepelt. A Kristály csoport alapítója. 1986 óta nem dolgozik.
