Biography
- Deputy and 'Wacht Obristen' of the Count Ferdinand of Hardeck; the count was the commander of the fortification in the city of Györ (Raab), which was located between Buda and Vienna, and important for the defence of the city of Vienna; during the long Turkish War in Hungary (1593-1606), the city of Györ was besieged by the Turks, and without any apparent reason, the count gave up to the enemy; as a consequence, the count was publically trialed and executed in Vienna on the 15 June1595, together with his deputy Perlin." - https://www.britishmuseum.org/collection/term/BIOG143570, 01.06.2022
